I often use surfing as a metaphor in my coaching approach
Coached the GB volleyball team at World Student Games and Scotland Senior/Junior teams
Created what was described as a 'world class'  mini rugby programme and won two National Youth Cups with Stirling County RFC producing 15 age-group internationals and 4 full internationals.

I have been a Head of Department in schools, Senior Manager in a local authority children's service and Senior Adviser to Scottish Government. I have worked with Scotland's Colleges, supported professional development for Children in Scotland, developed successful coaching programmes in schools and local authorities.I have present at national business and education conferences, coach a range of individuals in education, health, business and sport and support individuals in career development. I work with national sports agencies  in coach mentoring and coach development. I create highly effective executive coaching intervention programmes for executive teams.

Current work includes:coach/mentoring business teams and leaders in performance development, mentoring in elite sport programmes for UK Sport, sportScotland, national sports bodies and supporting individual national team players. I support Forth Valley/Scottish Chamber of Commerce as a mentor and mentor trainer. I also co-ordinate and project manage a national enterprise in education network.
